Does anyone know if it's possible to install the brake calipers from a 2006 WRX on a 2014 Crosstrek? I think the front calipers will fit but i'm not sure about the rears. I'm trying find out if a 2006 WRX rear knuckle will fit on a Crosstrek then I can install the 2 pots. Anyone ever thought about doing this?

The brakes would be going on this. Yes the 4/2 pots clear these wheels. I checked on my WRX.

Anything is possible
But a 2015 wrx wound probably fit better being same era

But Iam sure any wrx STI set would work
I've seen many done on Ozfoz with foresters 2010 models with 2006 brembos
Have fun

So what year are the front 4 pots from? And they did bolt up and use the same rotor correct?

If the piston slides out easy there is no reason to replace it. If there is a little rust you can use some emery cloth to remove it. When I rebuilt the 4/2 pots on my WRX one piston was really seized and I had to replace it. These seem to be in pretty good shape so we'll see what happens.

Done 30 000 odd Km on front pads
Drive is mostly daily driving to work ( a little highway and a little towing a jayco )

I got the f/r calipers for $510.00 on ebay. The rebuild kits were about $20.00 each. The adaptors for the rear calipers are around $250.00. Stock rotors are kept. New pads are like $100.00 for the fronts and like $80.00 for the rears. And I'm doing stainless steel braided lines. Those are about $100.00. So all together around just over $1000.00 for an awesome brake set up. That's still a great price for 4/2 pots and every thing to make them perform at their best. I still haven't gotten around to installing them because of the cold but as soon as it warms up they will be going on the car.

Would these that I found on Ebay be the same thing? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Subaru-WRX-.../181493845144?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a41e04c98&vxp=mtr
And would they also just be a "direct bolt-on", needing no mods or new/different brackets to mount them? These are the same but new am I correct? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Subaru-WRX-.../191353647730?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c8d90f272&vxp=mtr
Will they fit under the stock OEM wheels?

Where and which models of stainless steel brake lines did you use, please? The ones you installed look beautiful and damn powerful!! Can't wait to here how it all works after you are done!!

The first link you posted is the exact same caliper I have. That is just for the front two calipers. Those will bolt onto the front with no modifications. The second link you posted is for the front and rear calipers. Same front caliper as link one but it comes with the rear 2 pot calipers as well. The rear 2 pot calipers will need a bracket to fit onto the rear hub. I was told the stock wheels fit over these larger calipers but I have not confirmed that yet. I will take pictures when I get a chance and see if they fit over these brakes. As for the stainless steel lines I am probably going to use Stop tech lines. They're cheap and Stoptech is a good brand. Here is a link for the lines.

For the rear 2 pot caliper to work you will need new rear rotors. 2010+ Legacy GT rear rotors are what you're going to need. KNS Brakes sells some cheap rotors for 42.75 each which is a great price.

So I just made up a list of what else I need to buy to finish this brake setup. Here's the list

Stoptech SS Lines - Front
Stoptech SS Lines - Rear
Stoptech Pads - Front
Stoptech Pads- Rear
KNS Conversion Caliper Brackets V2
Centric Premium Brake Rotor x2

All this stuff adds up to around $540.00 which isn't bad. Just gotta pull the trigger and buy all the stuff! Oh and I'm buying all of this from KNS Brakes. They seem to be the best when it comes to brakes.
