I bought two cans and only used one...

Alex, I'm with you. Love the Khaki... not sure about the chrome stuff WITH the khaki. I am pondering the sport grill and plasti dipping the badging but I am really nervous about it lol.
Don't be nervous about the plasti-dip. That crap's easy to fix if you do screw up.

As for the grille, I understand that's easy too.

I'm still wanting to see a picture of a non-black XV (preferably khaki...) with a black sport grille, meaning a grille intended for a black XV where the border of the grille is black rather than khaki. I may have to be the test-subject for that when I have the funds. I feel like it would look good, but I dunno...

Thanks guys, I am looking to remove the "crosstrek" badge to create more of a JDM look (once I buy my car of course). Is there a way I could ever put the badge on again if I change my mind?

How late is too late to do this before you risk seeing a difference due to the exposed paint fading? I bought my Tangerine Orange XV at the end of 8/15, and it's parked outside (in Atlanta, GA).

I'd hate to see a difference in paint tone and have to reattach...

better sooner rather than later. use your girl's hair blower and some fishing line to get it off without scratching the paint. Also, sometimes its better to start a new thread than to revive one from over 2 years ago
