I've been wondering about this for a while now, but did anybody - besides me - opt to have the "old school" rear view mirror in their XV? You know, the one where you manually have to flip it in order to not be blinded by the traffic behind you?
I ordered my Crosstrek and opted to sacrifice the compass (which I wanted) and go with the old school manual mirror since any and all automatic dimming mirrors I've ever had the misfortune to use just don't dim well enough (or soon enough) for me. My XV's dash lights are practically off - they're as low as you can make them - so I'm guessing my eyes are pretty sensitive to light. lol
Anyway, I'm just curious if others have the basic mirror as well and for what reason? It seems my area dealers always include the auto dimming mirrors on every single XV on their lots!
