disregard this. Ended up being a dash cam alert.

I have a 2015 and this chime sound Link only happens when the car is turned off.
Key will be in my pocket, doors closed and it goes off every ~15 seconds. What is this :(

it only sounds when the engine is off. Key can be in the ACC position or key completely removed and car fully off.

Are you sure it’s the car? It doesn’t make sense there is a sound when the car is fully off. Unless there is some sort of short circuit maybe. It doesn’t sound to me like an actual proper car alert tone. It sound more like a sound from something shorting out. Or maybe your smoke alarm in your garage has a low battery. And you only hear your smoke alarm low battery alert after the engine is off. And that’s why it alerts you every 15 seconds as they do.

Might there be a forgotten old watch or other small piece of electronic gear in there somewhere? I agree that it doesn’t sound like any OEM thing coming from the car itself.

Does the chirp sound every 15 seconds the entire time the car is off? Are you certain it is only when the car is off rather than being too quiet to hear when the engine is running? Does it sound when the key has been turned past ACC to the on position, but the engine has not been started? When did you first notice this chirp? Can you narrow down the location from which the chip is sounding? Does your car have an anti-theft light that blinks? If so, does the chirp correlate to the blink?
