Subaru CVTF III Replacement Fluid

Looking at doing a drain and fill on my Crosstrek Limited with 2.5L /CVT which uses CVT III fluid.
Up until recently the you could only buy CVT III by the 5 gallon pail PN# SOA427V2600 from Subaru.

After speaking to a Subaru Master Mechanics it seems like the Eneos Eco CVT Fluid is compatible. PN# 3026-300. The bottle says compatible with Subaru CVT-II and more....using the Enos website vehicle search it does indeed come up as a compatible fluid for my Crosstrek and it's also the same blue color as the OEM fluid.

I was wondering if anyone has used the Eneos Eco Eco CVT Fluid ?

I changed the motor oil in my 2022 Limited this last weekend. While on ramps slid back to look over transmission. Noticed that “CVT III” is cast into housing. Guess to help dealer and us to put correct fluid in.
i have a Bluetooth dongle that plugs into OBD port. Can read CVT fluid temperature. Interstate at 75 is around 180 - 190 F after five hours. Air flow helps. Traffic, red lights, and hills can get it over 200. Ran a 700 mile round trip last week. Was 70 - 80 degree ambient most of the time. Warmed up to less than 185F.
But staying this low should extend the fluid life. I am finally draining and topping back up with CVT III @65,000 miles during next oil change.

I'll be dumping mine in my '21 this summer. I'll have a little over 30K on it by then. I also have a BT scan tool that I'll be using to monitor temps. I also have a drive on lift that will come in handy as well. It's not a full blown lift, but it will get the car high enough and level to make things easier.
