Looking at doing a drain and fill on my Crosstrek Limited with 2.5L /CVT which uses CVT III fluid.
Up until recently the you could only buy CVT III by the 5 gallon pail PN# SOA427V2600 from Subaru.

After speaking to a Subaru Master Mechanics it seems like the Eneos Eco CVT Fluid is compatible. PN# 3026-300. The bottle says compatible with Subaru CVT-II and more....using the Enos website vehicle search it does indeed come up as a compatible fluid for my Crosstrek and it's also the same blue color as the OEM fluid.

I was wondering if anyone has used the Eneos Eco Eco CVT Fluid ?

Why would you go with non-subaru stuff?
Because the OEM fluid is only available in a 5 gallon pail and cost ~$400.
A typical drain and fill will only require about 3 quarts.
The ENEOS Eco CVT fluid is available in quarts and is less $7 a quart. (Plus $10 shipping)
So out the door for 4 quarts is ~$36

Maybe these guys can help you out....
cvt fluid
Since the family's MY18(IE old gen), I lucked out and could get 1 quart bottles of the factory cvtf II fluid. You might consider adding a quart or two for the drain and refill. Never a good thing being caught light on fluid in that situation(IE car on lift pumping fluid in to top off at proper temp).
Interesting. They are buy the 5 gallon pails and repackaging into quarts and sell it at $37.41 a quart.
