I own 2024 crosstrek and i found my CarPlay was not connecting every time or connecting only after few minutes .i did everything on the car setting and it wasn’t working.
After a long research i found solution for this.enabling Automation in iphone is solution .now every time i turn on the car within 10 seconds my CarPlay is connected and spotify is playing music .
For this
1.Go to shortcuts app
2 select automation
3 click on “+” on the top right
4 select Bluetooth
5 select device ,and add your car Bluetooth .my car name was “Bluetooth transport”
6 click done and select Run immediately option.
7 click next ,it will go to another tab, select “open app”,next click on the app and select app u want to open when connected-i selected spotify
Now my carplay connect faster and i dont need to go to my car setting to connect to my phone(carplay)
