Pg 213 of the owners manual describes how to reset the Maintenance Reminders

 

It happens to me the same. I followed what’s written in the manual, even disabled the reminder from the general menu but this morning the message appeared again.
It seems that the car doesn’t care if I service it before, it asks to book an appointment with the dealer for the 10k service

 

Sound advice! Found the appropriate settings. The service rep at the dealer tried to reset it for me before I left the dealership. I think he just went into settings and turned off reminders and turned them back on. There's a whole other set of options for reminders (including setting mileage etc) that I wasn't aware of. Thank you!

The Subaru schedule says 10,000kms for first oil change. The dealership said bring it in after 3000kms to check everything and do an oil change "after the break-in period". I took it in around 6500kms, as there was a recall I was already going in for. I didn't think it was totally necessary, but it was cheap enough that I figured it couldn't hurt. They did a Service A which was around 150 bucks, if I recall. Next change is 10,000kms hence, so when I hit 16,500kms.

 

What are the recalls on 24 Crosstrek?

I get that usually within 500 miles of the scheduled/set oil/filter/rotate tires reminder. I set mine at 6000 miles and 6 months when I have done service.

One difference from the 2016 Forester and 2019 Impreza, I have to press RESET before I set the new time/mileage interval, Otherwise I still get the TIME FOR INSPECTION message at each startup.

Just completed my 18,000 Mile service and this is fresh in my mind.
