So anyone who is following my other post entitled "2 accidents in the same day" knows that my crosstrek is smashed up pretty good. The body shop said since I'm getting a new hood that they would gladly add a scoop if I wanted. Out of my pocket to add it of course but they will paint it for free since the car is being repainted and clear coated again.
Anyone have a good suggestion for a scoop? Trying to figure out what would look good and if I should leave the scoop black and the hood orange, or paint it all orange. Obviously it can be just for decoration and doesn't have to be functional.

I like this look, of course if you have a program that will let you alter your photo's you could play around with the color(s) etc without, changing a thing on the car until
you have made a final decision IMHO either scheme would Look awesome

Still not sure about it being totaled or not. Tomorrow they are gonna pull all of the body panels off and check for frame damage. If that goes well then they order 4 new rims and tires and make sure it can take an alignment. After that it's considered saviable and they order all the parts. It's getting 2 front doors, crash bar, hood, front and rear bumpers, front quarter panels, windsheild, all the black moulding replaced, my headlight/tailight/fog lights covers replaced, and then paint and clear coat.

I would do a WRX hood or not at all and that may not work unless doing a whole front clip since the grill and bumper cover are different anyway. If it were me I would only do it if functional and after adding a turbo. I'm not a fan of non functional hood scoops.

I'de vote for the WRX hood. I also vote to nickname your car "Lucky ", like the street dog that's missing an ear etc. ,and all scared up. I don't recall what happened to your vehicle. I'll have to check previous posts. Hope things work out for you. Cars and parts of cars can be replaced........

Ok, I just checked your posts. Your car was beautiful bro. Glad you and your wife are ok. I had a similar incident with a 2003 Red Chevy Cavalier. Got pummeled by golf ball sized hail in a summer heatwave. Got it fixed, and then totaled by a 7 series Beemer. I went to the hospital by ambulance from the scene, and had herniated discs on both sides. Took several years to heal. I wish you the best of luck and good health, no matter what happens with the ride!
