I think the Infotainment System on my 2024 Wilderness is just fine. Be glad you don't have Uconnect.
It isn't slow, my Commodore VIC-20 was SLOW.
Of course I don't use a smart device.
Bought my Wilderness to go off road, not play silly games.
I have an intel i7-9700K work station for real computing, it is fast.
Don't you mean Commodore VC, (a particularly ugly vehicle from the early 80s GM stables)?
 
Where is this mandatory by law in the US? I'm in the US and unless I live under an actual rock, I've never heard this.
Since May 1, 2018, all new vehicles weighing under 10,000 pounds sold in the US are required to have a backup camera and video display. This federal regulation, enforced by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), aims to reduce the risk of backover accidents.
