Looks like the press embargo for the Crosstrek Wilderness lifted this morning, so there are some new reviews out. Here's the one that Ryan from Driving Sports posted:

Ryan is a great Subaru reviewer, and the best news is that company is letting him keep the Crosstrek Wilderness for six months ... so we can expect lots of good content to come.

Yeah, I'm sure they were just trying to maintain product differentiation, maybe get a handful of folks to move up to a more-expensive Forester or Outback.

Interestingly, some of the reviews I read yesterday are actually saying that because of its size and nimbleness, the Crosstrek is actually the best of the three Subaru Wilderness vehicles.

As a follow-up, here are links to a few more reviews ... it's impressive how positive the reviews are as a group. You can tell that just from reading the titles!

There were a few other video reviews released yesterday, too, though not as good as Ryan's -- he very clearly knew what he was doing driving the car off road, and he had a blast, besides. In contrast, the guy who does Redline Reviews was obviously way out of his league when he tried running the basic off-road course Subaru had set up. It's a good lesson that sometimes, certain reviewers deserve a little more attention than others.
