Do you mean you have issues with the hands-free microphone in your car when the car is travelling at speed and the road/wind noise makes it impossible for someone to hear you?

I have the same issue as the OP. I read that other thread,but it is 3 years old. I'd like to hear from 2016 Crosstrek owners. Where is the microphone volume control in the 2016 model?

 

The design and the placement of the microphone hasn't changed for most owners since 2012 when it was introduced so much of the information applies to the 2016 as well as the upcoming 2017. The only drastic things that have changed are the headunit and the Eyesight (as the assembly holding the microphone has changed) feature.

The noise seems to be coming wind noise off the roof and the low amounts of insulation (ie none) between the roof and the microphone assembly.
