I love the look of the white Sparco Terras. I would have got them for my winters but they were sold out for the season on Tire Rack.

I got Sparco Assetto Garas instead.

Generally speaking, I've been really happy with the quality of my Sparco wheels (different model) over the last 3+ years.

 

Just installed the new shoes, the sparrco with 215/70/16 General grabber AT2. The back tires just barely made it!!!

Are these +35mm offset?

 

I went with the Sparco Terra as well. Was debating between those and the Method 502s, but it seems like most everyone who swaps wheels goes with the Methods, so I figured I'd do the lesser-used option. In 16x7 I feel they strike a nice balance between size/looks and being able to fit a decent A/T tire. Overall, I'm really happy. They seem well-made/durable, and I like the look a lot.

Got silver ones and had 'em powder coated matte black locally and sent my 'sticker guy' a pic of the stock wheels and dimensions of the stickers for the khaki ones. I liked the Sparco design best of the rally type wheels too bad they don't come in black stock.

 

MAAAAAAAN. Those are nice.

 

I went with 215/65/16. I didn't want to pack too much tire in there and risk rubbing. The 65 fits fine with a reasonable amount of clearance. We had some snow recently and that size worked well even with a decent lining of hardened slush up and around the wheel well.

 

FYI for the record the Sparco 16x7 Terra weighs 19.2 lbs

What tire size? Also I'm guessing that they are the 16" wheels. If so the backspacing on those are a +50mm so I'm guessing that they are tucked in like the stock wheels?

215/65R16s, I believe the offset is 45 on the wheels

I had 30x9.5r15 BFG AT KO2's on a Jeep Wrangler and they were wonderful. Very tough, good grip, ideal for high desert roaming, great wear. Seemed fine enough for highway driving, even in rain, light snow. Had General Grabbers before that, they were decent but clearly an inferior imitation. Most noticeably, the Grabbers lacked the sturdy sidewalls of KO2's. And they didn't wear quite as well.

I just want you all to know that I hate you all! I bought a Subaru because it is inexpensive and it has a stellar reputation for being reliable. Joining this forum has been the bane of my Subaru owning existence (all 2 weeks of it).

I have, so far, spent over a gazillion bucks, (in my head of course) compiling all sorts of goodies and toys for this car. The sad part is, it's my wife's car...I need help!:embarrassed:

Did you have the stickers placed beneath a clear-coat? Also, about how much did the powdercoating run you?

 

No clear coat, stickers were on top of powder-coat just like the Sparco OEM setup. Powder coat was $40/wheel for me.
