Aftermarket wiper blades? (for nasty Canuckistan winter driving)

I found the OEM wipers on my 2021 to be unsatisfactory in the winter. Nasty winters here, and to make things more complicated I often go from -20C to +10C in a 20 minute drive. That's BC Rockies life for ya!

Anyway, any recs for aftermarket winter wiper blades? I poked around a bit but there doesn't seem to be any options. I'm too used to my other vehicles all having dozens of different blades that fit, I guess. lol.

Cheers!

Cool, thanks. I saw the Rain-X & Bosch ones at Crappy Tire yesterday, but looking them up on their kiosk it said they weren't compatible with my '21.

I've found the OEM ones get streaky too easily, compared with the Reflex & Bosch ones on our other 2 daily drivers in the exact same conditions. Very good the rest of the year, though, no worries. We all live & drive in different environmental variables.

The conventional style wiper blade that you linked would do awful in Canadian winters due to ice/snow build-up in the blade's metal structure.

The beam blade-style allows for more even pressure across the windshield but they're not built the same since quality varies across brands.

I agree with you with the hook setup that Subaru uses but it's common across car companies from Mazda, most German brands, some Honda's, and Toyota's.

Depending on the wiper blade you buy it'll come with adapters for you to clip on to make it work.
Thanks Arthur. Yep, you nailed it there, some styles just don't do nearly as well in the Canadian winter. (BTW, wipers aren't covered under warranty in Canada, likely due to our weather)

I think I'll hafta take a bit more time perusing the choices next time in town, see if they have adapters with them that'll work.

I find the non-single blades get filled with snow/ice, but I also park outside at work. Best part is when I leave for work it'll be a touch above freezing, but waayy below zero on the drive home. So no matter what, I get ice in the hinge points. The single blades seem to keep thawed out better, in my experience here. And I do clean the rubber about once a month. I need to, the summers here are especially dusty & smokey.

I ended up using Reflex Gold, its provided adapter worked fine. The blades performed much better this winter than the previous OEM blades.
