Since I finally decided to take a picture of my car with it's wheels on it, I thought I'd finally contribute to this thread. Gunmetal Enkei YS5's 18x8 with Michelin Pilot Sport a/s 3 plus tires.

Nice! I plan on the Pilot Sport A/S 3 plus as my summer tire down the road (pardon the pun). I would appreciate your impression of them on the Crosstrek if you'd be willing to describe.

They're great! Very confidence inspiring, road noise isn't too bad and I've never once felt like I had inadequate grip, even in the rain. My fuel economy is a bit down but it's a trade off I'm absolutely willing to make. They even perform well snow and though not as well in ice, it's still pretty good.

Question for people who have changed rims, have you been able to get a good price selling the OEM rims and tires? I've thought of getting my own rims and tires, but I'm too cheap to do so unless I can get a reasonable price selling the ones the car came with.

Check ebay for current pricing. If you want to sell yours, offer them for 20% less than you see listed there for comparable condition. I bought a set of 8 mile old stock wheels for about $450 delivered late 2016. Others have bought sets of stock wheels and tires for around $700 (unclear if TPMS included or not).

This looks freaking awesome. Ive got the same model/color as you. And Ive been researching tire & wheels. Do you have a lift kit on it? If not does it rub? Hows it riding with those bigger tires? Seriously. Perfect look- exactly what Im wanting.
Sorry for the delay in reply. No lift, no rubbing. The tires really are only slightly larger than the stock set up was. No change in ride quality, just a bit of the AT tire whirling that was to be expected.

I scored these garage sale find, Enkei M52 wheels. I got 5 of them, one has an old 205/55/16 tire mounted to it. I plan on running 215/70/16 Cooper SRX, or 235/65/16 Cooper CS5 Grands on my 2018 Crosstrek,
when I get it.

They came off a Scion XD, and have alleged 21,xxx miles on them. They are all in really nice condition.

Size: 16x7
Offset: 38mm
Bolt pattern: 5-100
Weight (according to Tire Rack): 18.9 lbs.

Loving the wheels devil.duke.88. I have seen someone run those as a winter set here before. Gives everything a nice sporty look.

If anyone has done Enkei RPF1's (don't care what color,) please post up! I'm close to ordering a set in matte bronze 17x8 +45 offset. 15.8lbs. This shaves over 30lbs off rotating mass / unsprung weight.
I want to know the same thing too, I feel the unsprung weight saved could help with some acceleration on the starting line -__- (just a little)

Wondering if the less rotating mass would affect cruising MPG if given same rim/tire size as stock but lighter

I had a question about sizing. I see some people here running 215/65-16 size tires. According to my calcs, the 215/70-16 is closer to stock and obviously has a taller side wall. Is there any particular reason for going with the 65s?

Also, how are the BFG K02s for everyday driving around town or on the freeway? Are they noisy or otherwise undesirable? Just wondering if they can be used as DD tires or are they better as a second set. Thanks!

the 215/65-16 is a 6mm difference in diameter from the stock 225/55-17. you can check willtheyfit.com for sizing comparisons.

i wear the k02 in 215/65-16 and find they're a bit too noisy for my liking. i wear them for winter only but i don't think i could deal with that all year round.

I had a set of 16" winter tires on Honda wheels from my wife's previous car that I wanted to use on my XV so I decided to pick up some 16" 5x100 wheels. I wanted something gunmetal/gray and found these and decided to give them a shot.

They're knock offs, they're cheap, and the quality is unknown (couldn't find anyone else who had them on any platform), but I like the look and they're fairly light (16lbs on my bathroom scale). Time will tell if they are worth buying or not.
