AC compressor Cycling

Checked threads and didn’t see any of the specific causes or solutions.

BACKGROUND: AC stopped working, dealer found O-ring seals leaking and TXV bad- replaced and returned.

NOW: AC compressor sometimes doesn’t come on and when it does the compressor randomly comes on and off, rarely stays cold consistently for longer than a few seconds.
Returned and dealer said they weighed refrigerant , charge was correct said it’s normal.

Any advice before I lose my S on the service department? I have a video but not sure how to load on this format?

Does sound like the clutch slipping. It’s an easy fix if it is. The dealer will not address it though. They replace the entire compressor. Shim fix is free if you do yourself. New clutch is $50-$100 range if you’d rather go that route. Not through Subaru though.
thanks for the help! Clutch isn’t slipping it just erratically engages and disengages and sometimes doesn’t at all.
Mine is a 2013 mfr 11/2012
Not sure how to read the TSP VINs listed but mine starts with a J and last

Not sure how to read the TSP VINs listed but mine starts with a J and last 6 are 819330. Going to try swapping relays with the fan, same ones. Someone told me those replays can get weak…. Worth a try.

will keep updated

If the A/C compressor is cycling fast you are more than likely low or over charged on refrigerant. If you just had work done on the a/c system I would be going back to where I had the work done.
When I took it back they said they evacuated entire system checked charge weight and no leaks. (Dealer service ugh)

After 3rd return visit for same cycling issue and spending a month at the dealer they said they found a burnt wire on the harness, replaced the harness and control panel….so far so good.
