I have a new 2021 Crosstrek Limited and need to set my old Yakima round bars on it (don’t want to buy new bike carrier plus mighty mounts for ski carrier). Factory rails are same since the 2018 model, so people with older cars can help. I won’t use it often and for only short periods so I want cheap and easy to set up and take off. Timberline is the new model but is expensive, requires SL adapters, and is more complicated than older models, which are very cheap on ebay. Yakima won't tell me if a discontinued model--i.e. the Lowrider or Railgrabber--will fit a newer car. Does anyone know if a Lowrider (discontinued 2006) will fit a my factory rails? Those are super cheap and look to have easiest install. What about Lowrider Max? If those won't work, what about the Railgrab, which was the next iteration (discontinued in 2016)? I will use my old round bars so need just the towers. Thanks.

I forget what mine are called but I've been running them without issue since 2019 in different configs. I got a set of bars, towers, and a single bike tray for 15$ at goodwill!
