Had the front door windows tinted today. Had them match the tint level of the other windows. Looks better, especially on a black car.

Also got front windows tinted last week, and today installed the leather MFD cover with orange stitching. For those wondering, purchased PN 66077FL200VH for the cover and PN 66077FL020 for the supporting bracket. Purchased the latter from the local Subaru dealer and got the cover from SSG Asia. Highly recommend them if you are looking for parts from Europe as they have an expansive and detailed database.

Blacked out the chrome trim below the windows on the doors. Used vinyl tape. A bit tedious but I do like it better without the chrome.

Battery died yesterday. It was the original from when I got it in 2019. Went and immediately got the Odyssey battery and threw it in there. While I was getting that, I picked up stuff for an oil change which I'll probably do tomorrow overnight while I'm bored at work lol

When I got my new Crosstrek 2 weeks ago, I test drove, went in for a couple hours to do the paperwork and everything, came out with my dealer so he could show me some stuff, and there was a dent on the passenger door above that ridgeline, so it wasnt a door.

Took it in today to get it repaired, and the job didnt come out perfect, so they are sending it to a specialist (bodyshop) to fix it. Since I live 90 miles away they ended up renting me a car, they were out of loaners, and sent me home. My salesman told me his boss said i could pick a free accessory for my troubles. I'm thinking I'm going to ask for the STI spoiler, and if they wont give me that cuz its so expensive, I'll ask for the window rain guards. I actually just received a pair of OEM rain guards in the mail today, but I'll just return them if I have to.

What accessories does your car already have? The most bang for your buck would likely be the RF upgrade, although I hear they are out of stock everywhere for that year.

Yeah I thought about that, but I didnt think they would give that to me, if they had it. I also saw that they are out of stock everywhere until feb. Other than that, the spoiler, and the rain deflectors theres really nothing else oem I really want.

for me the STI spoiler looks too similar with the original, better get STI shifter knob or cargo guard IMO

I washed my car and did a full detail before going to Europe for 2 weeks. Left the car on the battery tender. Won't be driving it for another week at least so I'll probably do another ceramic coating on it. Used some Gtechniq tar remover when I washed the car and the stuff faded the plastic on the mirrors so I got their stuff to restore trim so hopefully that works.
