Hey, I live on the Wet Coast of Canada, where wipers get used a lot, incl ice and snow when up in the mtns in winter. And mine are still good, too. Obviously OEM are good quality.

The OEM wipers are the best I can remember. The Crosstrek replaced a Lexus and it was the worst - screeching wipers and you still couldn't see...

I personally use CPLAY2AIR for my wireless CarPlay; but I’m sure if you found a similar module for android auto it would work. I’ll try to detail more specifics in the write-up.

Having that shackle in the front looks cool but it will ruin your car's frame if you get into a front accident. It isn't designed for impact with the tow hook installed.

Your crumple zones won't work right because of the added reinforcement of the bolt. The bolt itself will also be a cause of damage that you would otherwise not have by s. I was looking at doing the same thing last year and found a long discussion on some forum about it, that's my summary.

Changed my oil yesterday. 12,112 miles (2,750mi between changes and 6 months). Pulled a sample from the dipstick to send off to Blackstone to see how the oil is wearing with the whole plug-in hybrid thing. Curious to see if the mileage between changes is better/same/worse given a bunch of miles are in all electric.

Checked my tread depth on the tires and I've lost 2/32" over that same mileage (raised my tire inflation to 38/37 from stock 36/35 over the summer). Tread was deeper in the center vs the shoulders of the tires so I did this to see if the tires would wear more evenly as well as if I could improve fuel economy. It's okay if they waste a bit faster because I'd prefer to swap them out for Falken Wildpeaks hopefully around 30,000mi otherwise it'll be based on age of the tires.

They are just magnets! The front is done in highly reflective vinyl. I topped it off with a set of five dollar Santa legs out the tailgate. Parked in front of the clubhouse today for our tree lighting/holiday concert event. Got quite a few smiles.
