[B]Warning Lights / Check Engine & Transmission Alerts Come on (No Drive Issues)[/B]
Hello...,
CrosssTrek XV Hybrid, first-time Subaru owner here, since January 2014, and love the car... Found this forum after experiencing the issue reporting here, and wanting to know if anyone has experienced / heard of this?
Details:
Late the other evening, getting into car, all sorts of warning lights started coming on (Transmission, ABS, "Hill Assist") and "Check Engine" light then came on (& steady) for the first time ever.
Continued happening that evening (even with stop / start of the car), with ABS, and "Hill Assist" warnings on, and also on the next morning (with also the "AT OIL TEMP" light also on / flashing, even though car was cold started).
Made arrangements to take the car in to Subaru Service that evening, which (Murphy's Law) the warnings stopped happening, and they could not find anything wrong (But noted an alerting system that is part of the transmission).
Today, all of the warnings again came on, while I was driving the car (I took a photo of the dash... The "AT OIL TEMP" light is flashing).
The thought presently, seems to be replacing the transmission / part of the transmission that drives the alerting (although still tbd). Looking around to see if this is something anyone else has experienced. If allows, attaching photo here
