Ok, new '15 XV Limited/Nav/eyesight with less than 450 miles on it and this is starting to drive me crazy - every once in a while, as I am driving it will make a single "Bong" sound. As it does so, it seems to do a weird thing by shifting the sound away from the driver's side speaker a second or so before the sound is emitted. There is nothing shown on any of the displays. I thought it was Nav traffic updates, but sounds continued when I disabled those. Eyesight sound guide does not list any "single" beeps other than failures, but those have other dashboard lights, none of which are on. Plus, it seems that eyesight messages are also shown in the multifunctional display in between tach and speedo. There also seems to be no rhyme or reason for the messages, sometimes it happens several times in a row, sometimes does not happen for miles. Sometimes there are cars in front, other times there is an empty street. I tried messing with all sorts of settings, (even turned of the random "beep" setting ) But it is still mocking me. Any ideas?
