The wife and I took a drive from Mill City, OR to the Johnston Observatory at the top of Mt St Helen’s. Got to go up 25 for a ways out of Randall, WA up to the snow line then turn around and head home. Found a lot a great trails/roads I wanna come back for and camp/wheel.
The best part, however, is the pic. 28.3mpg for the trip. Fuelly calc’d at 27.4mpg. I was at 24.3mpg with the KO2’s driving Ms. Daisy. With the same size Wildpeaks and the basket/roof bars off, the pic says it all
I was often 70-75-80 once I got to WA. Lot of 55-60mph climbing but to be fair, a lot of coasting on return trip. Weight reallllllly matters w these CT’s. I’ll post a few pics of TR8R from the trip later this weekend. I used a Canon T2i for the first time for those😎
