I sure do appreciate your kind generosity as it was devastating for me at the time, but it was on me as I was rushing to try to get it done and paid the price for it. However, you are absolutely correct in a sense that the manufacturer should've made a minor precautionary measure to make sure such mistake does not happen so easily, as I've heard from the lead mechanic consultant at the time that it happens often enough for them to know what to do with the Subarus.Don't blame the grease monkey! The manufacturer should had stamped the pan CVT fluid, located the drain plug farther away from the oil drain plug, and should had made the drain plug smaller with a torx head. Also they should have added a dip stick to the transmission! They don't do this by mistake, it's to get you screw up, so you pay them to repair it!
