2018 Crosstrek - Premium
I have the crossbars that came with it.
They look aerodynamic if that helps identify them.

Suggested Thule Cargo box was the Force XL.
#1 - Wow this is big on the roof!!!
#2 - I have concerns that it extends past the top of the windshield. Should I be worried about uplift ??
#3 - Am I doing something wrong that makes the last 1/2” of travel when opening the rear door (spoiler) contact the case?

Case is mounted as far forward as possible.
Crossbars are mounted as far forward as I can while still matching contour.

Am I missing something here or did I mess up the install??

Please help!!!!

Your not nessisarily doing anything wrong. The Thule box is just that big.

1. No issues with the box extending over the windshield. All of the boxes I have used that allow me to put skis/boards in them will extend over the windshield unless you drive a large suv.

2. Not much you can do about the rear hatch hitting. If you have moved everything forward this is the best it is. We use the Yakima Skybox LoPro and it works better on our Forester than our Crosstrek, just the way it is. If the 18 has the push button latch, adjust the travel so it doesn’t hit.

This product shipped to me without all required parts, and a piece BROKE during install. Directions are abysmal, and Thule customer service was wholly unsatisfactory.

I will never buy from Thule again.

That is a big box up there. I would not worry about it extending that far forward. Sorry to hear about the other problems.
