hey so I thought id give a nice 4 year reply to this seeing that people surely still use this thread.

I followed what coletrain and cheifwiggum did and it was the WRONG way.
below is the correct polarity from my testing and real experience putting in new speakers.

drivers side
white w/ black stripe- NEGATIVE
Blue w/ orange stripe- POSITIVE

Passengers side:
Green wire- NEGATIVE
Brown w/ white stripe- POSITIVE.

you can test this yourself by once you connect the wires use a polarity tester app on your phone and check.
