speaker wire polarity

Checked and confirmed

First I checked the wiring harness online for the 2015 xv speakers and it looked like the positive was the side with the plastic clip. I grabbed a 9 volt and checked the factory speakers and sure enough I had positive cone excursion when the positive side of the battery contacted the wire of the speaker connected to the side with the clip. Here is what I came up with for my Premium 2015 Crosstrek.


LF Pos (Blue/gray) Neg (White/Black)
RF Pos (Brown/yellow) Neg (Green)
LR Pos (Red/White) Neg (Red/Black)
RR Pos (Gray/green) Neg (Red/White)
