Hi all, tl:dr below
Most of my daily driving is short 5-15min trips in the Midwest on asphalt. I believe I should be following the severe maintenance schedule for condition a, and notes 1, 3, 4, and 6. My confusion is with the wording of maintenance item(s) 12(transmission gear oil) in the service manual. I'm pretty sure a Crosstrek falls under "except BRZ", but I haven't been able to find a straight answer for if my vehicle uses "transmission gear oil" specifically. I believe my CVT transmission only needs one fluid which is CVT fluid. Is that correct? The only proper gears in the CVT I can think of would be the set that handles reversing.
tl;dr
Is maintenance item 12 applicable to my '21 Crosstrek Limited?
Thanks,
Logan
edit: I have added an image of the table I'm referring to
