Does anyone have a scan of the install of either Gorilla or RokBlokz mud flaps? I see Rally Armor has them posted, I'm just curious how much different the install is on those brands.

I know it's easier to do this with the rear wheels off, but is it do-able for the mechanically inept (me) to install these using an offset screwdriver and without removing the wheels. From what I've read around here, it seems like it is possible.

It would be very difficult and frustrating trying to get the inner most screw started and get the hole drilled that is necessary. You have a jack and a lug wrench equipped with the car, use them to take the wheels off.

Also, for the rear insert, I did not use the Rokblokz insert - I took the OEM insert and pulled the middle piece out and used that.

The reason most people take off the wheels is for the long screw, it is very difficult for it to bite without some sort of pressure on it. I took off the wheel, but an option though, is to just jack up the car, you don't have to remove the wheel but it gives you room to work. I put a piece of electrical tape behind the plastic that you are suppose to insert so that it would not keep rotating and let the long screw grab. Others have used some sort of glue.

You dont have to remove your rear wheels. I personally did not like the way the long center bolt went into the lame plastic insert that was included. Instead I used another bolt and luck nut. You can access the back of the sheet metal that the plastic insert was meant to go into by putting your hand up into the fender from the under side of the rear bumper. It was fairly easy, just a little difficult to get started since you are going by feel only, however this way is much stronger in my opinion.
