I just received word from the dealer that I need a new engine. My 2014 Forester has 145,000 miles. I decided to add up all of the repairs and maintenance (including brakes, tires and oil changes) and it came to over $10,000 . Is this typical? I’ve owned two Foresters in 22 years, but I’m about to jump ship. Any input?
