Order hold, anyone else?

Update: Subaru called back and said the order processed finally and that my original estimated ship month of July is still on target. They wouldn't send me coupons (thought I'd try) but they are sending swag at least.

Has anyone else dealt with their 2024 order being on hold from Subaru themselves?

I had an order in at a different dealer but that was canceled 2 and a half weeks ago (I confirmed and got the deposit refund). The current order I have has been on hold for 2 weeks and I'm getting zero answers from the dealer or Subaru.

It's getting extremely irritating.

It wasn't canceled by Subaru. I canceled the original order at a dealership with far worse trade in values. Placed a new order at a better dealer.

Usually orders are on hold (1) due to Subaru halting production for a short while. Supply chain issue, fix a production line glitch, (2) the dealer already meeting their monthly allotment, so they can't put in orders until following month.

If it's #1 Subaru customer service should be able to tell you that, unless they are directed not to disclose. If #2 you could call several other dealers to see if it's dealer-wide or not.

I placed the order 2 weeks ago and am the only customer with this issue. Subaru has no answer but supposedly is looking into it for me as well as the regional sales director according to the sales manager at the dealer.

You're from a low interest rate era and certain credentials no longer that are applicable to this new financial means. Throw a roof rack and hood line on top of that solar paneled and a plugged subsided perk into those weeds you got NEW green.
I think similarly to Toyota, Subaru doesn't do 'custom builds' so your order gets put on hold until an assembly line allocation comes to your dealer with the options that you 'ordered'.

It was 2 nice metal, insulated, and Subaru branded coffee mugs and wireless skullcandy ear buds.

Sadly no straight jacket. :(
