Hello! I have an X-Mode button/switch from a CVT model and I was curious if this could be used for a lightbar...?

Right now, I am having a difficult time trying to find out what connector I would need for that. If I could locate at 2018 at a junkyard, I could possibly get one there, but I am unable to find one of those at this time. Has anyone out there tried to do something similar? What are your switch solutions for the empty bays?

Thanks!!

I decided to use the empty switch bays lower left of the steering wheel for my lights rather that some jury-rigged switches. I went to the dealer and ordered the switches that go in the blanks. Expensive but I figured much better look in the long-run. I forgot that as these switches are basically keys on a computer keyboard they are the "momentary" type. The switches are not yet installed so lights not yet functioning...but look cool. My mechanic and I are researching solenoids and/or relays that will function on/off with a momentary switch. Stay tuned.

Did you happen to solve this?
I've decided to go a slightly different way. Routing the switch wiring through the firewall was going to be a chore so I went for a wireless control module. It has built-in relays that are operated by a wireless fob. I also thought that I could take the pcb out of the fob and wire the fob buttons up to the switches I put in the blanks. I've bought the module and will wire it up when it gets a bit warmer outside as my garage is a bit full right now.
