Originally when I looked at the 2023 Crosstrek I was really disappointed it didn't have Wireless Carplay.
I have put Kenwood decks in 2 other 2008 cars we have and I couldn't see going back to using wires again.

It turns out these adapters work really well, for about $100 from a large book reseller.

I also usually use ProClip mounts but the one for our car blocked the vent too much for my liking. There is so little space left on our dash that isn't blocking screens. This is what I came up with

Weird. Here in CA radar detectors are legal but you have to mount them on the dash, not the windshield.

It's not on my windshield and the phone display is for an optional app that is super useful. It's basically a concealed display/advanced mute control etc.

See, this way the radar doesn't show any lights to cars around me and it's mounted exactly where it works best.

My AA fob is attached to the top of my center dash storage right above the cigarette lighter outlet with double sided tape. I never see it. There is also a wireless charger in the storage box, so the phone lives there too. It just sits there getting charged with QC3 wireless. Which is good because AA wireless will suck a battery dry. And turn a phone into a toaster.
