New member. Just about to pull the trigger on a 2025 CrossTek premimum.
This will be my 4th Subaru. 2005 Forrester XT, 2005 Forrester XT, 2018 Crosstrek. Traded the first 2005 in '18 for the '18 Crosstrek. Now, getting ready to trade my 2005 Forrester. It had 7 miles on it when I got it, new.
Sad to see it go....but.

I did it. Said goodbye to my 2005 Forrester XT. 20yrs. My Rocket is off to a new life.
I am loving my new CrossTrek, Cobalt. Took a drive up in the mountains today and had
a chance to use/feel the new tech. I was totally blown away by it all.
I do not regret this purchase at all.
...and Golden ret/lab approved.
I'll see you on the road.

Welcome.

I'm a sentimental person, so I even had pangs of doubt about the old Sebring when I traded it in back in 2013, and the Malibu when I sold it last fall.

On your new Premium, one of the great things for 2025 is that it gets the 2.5 L engine, which IMO is a make or break element for the Crosstrek, that extra power and torque makes a huge difference in how the car drives... without almost no mileage downside.

You had that Forester longer than me. I had a 2004, that I sold in 2014 with 265K miles, then MY14 Limited had 272K on it when it was rear ended. Now MY24 Limited hope to get the same miles or more out of it.

Maybe we crossed messages,, as I have with many others on Subaru boards over the years ....... In any case, Best Wishes and hope for the same utility from your new Crosstrek, ours with 2 Irish Setters riding along from time to time ...... still a Subaru and on a Subaru based message board.

P.S. Console Car Covers out of Florida ( run by vets ) has nice covers for the console to prevent dog nail damage.
