Oh trust me I know the proper placement for display of the US Flag. It kind of gets beat into you when you serve as NCOIC of flag detail. And I've tried all kinds of attempts using the search engines, looking on Amazon, etc. That's why I'm now hitting up the collective, to see if there are any other people who may have faced this challenge before and solved it.here's a search page with some ideas

Write down where you parked. Much less effort.(especially with my deteriorating vision and memory)
only if you remember to keep a note pad and pencil with youWrite down where you parked. Much less effort.
Put a tile in it.So here in Western New York, it's about to the point that anywhere you are, you can throw a rock and hit a Subaru. They're all over the place - which makes it difficult at times to find my car in a parking lot.
my last car had a stick aerial antenna on it, and I'd zip-tie a small American flag to it. Inexpensive, I'd just cut the ties off before going to the car wash. Made it easier to find my car in the parking lot (especially with my deteriorating vision and memory) And being an Army veteran, it made me happy to fly a flag.
However my 2021 Limited has a shark fin antenna, so that idea won't work. I've been looking online to get ideas for a solution, but not seeing anything. I don't like the ones that put on a window and the rolled-up glass hold them in place. I'd prefer something that could fly a single flag, but I might go double with a USA/ POW-MIA flag setup.
I was considering getting an inexpensive roof rack bar, and cobbling up some kind of mount setup. I'd rather not pay huge prices for a premium bar, since all I'd be using it for was a flag mount, but all the reviews of the inexpensive ones indicate they suck - usually they don't stay put, and slide along the side rails.
So I'm asking the hive mind for any ideas. Once again, I'd just want a small to medium flag, so nothing that goes in a hitch with a long flagpole. And preferably something I could leave on at highway speeds. Thanks in advance for any ideas!
This would be my vote. But, i know what youre talking about. Was at a festival in VT last year and a group of people were walking past and joked "wheres our car, just look for the subaru with VT plates on it"Both Google Maps and Apple Maps smartphone applications have feature to you to mark the location of your car as you leave it.
