I'm a little nervous about messing around too much with the lights as I'm catching a lot of vocabulary I don't recognize (CK-style, CANBUS, etc). I'm slowly learning, but in the mean time, I want to get some bright LED reverse lights for my 15 XV.

I saw that many people go with these from DD Backup LEDs for 2013-2016 Subaru XV Crosstrek (pair) , but I'm nervous about spending $40 or $90 to get the brightness I want if the above ones from Amazon are usable.
Will I run into any issues installing either the Amazon or DD ones as reverse lights? Are they bright?
