I learned something new today about the use of the spare tire while reading the quick reference guide via the MySubaru App feature on my iphone. I took a snapshot of it and posted it below. Apparently in the event of a flat tire, the spare tire is ONLY supposed to be used on the rear tires. If a front tire goes flat and you need to use the spare, if I understand correctly...you are supposed to remove a non-puncture rear wheel and move it up to replace the puncture front wheel, then place the spare in the rear.
Hhmmm...so if this is the case and you're on the road and need to change a flat tire, just how is this done with only the single little scissor jack that comes with the spare? Am I missing something?
