As a newbie to Subaru, I'll say put the remote start on the key fob where it oughta be. Maybe it used to be there. I get that it's something they'll be able to monetize after the first X years... but put it on the damn key now with a way tp disable it after the 'free' period. I don't want to start the car with my phone, no matter how cool it is.

And speaking of cool... put some air vents in the back seat. Yeah, it's a small car. But if you're sitting back there you're gonna want those vents. And I expect the dog would, too.

My Subaru to work with Apple Watch.
My 2017 does through Bluetooth. Especially handy when Siri does the navigation, I can take a quick look at my watch instead of the screen and see directions and ETA quickly and easily. Also it vibrates and clicks on my wrist for upcoming turns.

That’s your watch working with the navigation on your phone. That has nothing to do with the car or the My Subaru app. I’m talking about the
My Subaru app being on the watch. Like being able to start the car from the watch. As of now it’s not available on the watch.

But it does announce the navigation on the head unit and the watch can also control the music being played on the headhunt. It is because my headhunt has the Eyes free Siri feature built into it. So it does have something to do with the car.

Yes but that has nothing to do with the watch. Apple play works great with the car, anytime Apple Maps is being used you can also have the watch involved. But the My Subaru app is not compatible at all with the watch, yet.

Easy. My only dislike(s) about the Crosstrek revolve around the line of the door sills, which is too high and rises too steeply for my taste.

This creates two problems for me. One is that I find it highly uncomfortable to drive with the window down and to have my elbow propped up on the door sill, which is a lifetime habit of mine.

Two, by sweeping up--instead of having a flatter line from front to rear, the rear side windows are smaller than they otherwise could be, and that significantly reduces visibility.

A relatively minor change would solve my only niggles.

I'd prefer something like this:

To this (current):

Quite happy with the vehicle otherwise.

It may have better visibility but it doesn't look as sporty as the actual car.
To me, having excellent visibility is one of the hallmarks of "sportiness."

Sportiness isn't in the looks, but in the doing of driving.

Not being able to see well (much less not having a place to prop one's elbow) detracts from the driving experience in my opinion.
