I had the Sport floor liners for about 1 year. This is the floor coverage:

Which leaves this dirt pattern:

Even after a good shop vac cleaning, the carpeting still shows wear by the gas pedal:

I installed Husky x-act contours, #52871. Note the difference in coverage:

Here are the comparisons to Sport mats, driver and passenger side:

Should make a huge difference this winter. Just got 2 feet of snow yesterday and slapped on the snow tires too. Now just waiting for the plows to come through!

They should fit the 2022, don't think there were any changes. Maybe Husky website hasn't updated? You can always email them to check.

They do indeed fit the 2022. I have them and they fit like a glove, excellent coverage and durability. Yeah probably just haven't updated the info. Amz has them currently for $110.

Been using them on my 17 for a couple years. They work so much better than the factory "winter" liners. Don't need to cut around the fuel door lever. You can gently pull up the rubber but if memory serves I trimmed some of the aggressive cleats so they don't dig into fingers.

Also use an old shop towel as a liner to sop of the melted snow/salt from boots.

Yeah, I wish I wouldn't have bought the Sport mats but maybe I can save someone else from doing it. Sport mats for sale for cheap, anyone?

Received this reply from Husky:
The 2021 Subaru Crosstrek liners do carry over to the 2022 Crosstrek. We are in the process of updating our website and apologize for the confusion. Please let me know if you need anything else.

I am very grateful for your post and photos. I didn’t know there was that big of a difference.
I just ordered the Husky x-act contours, #52871.
You saved me from a lot of wear and tear on my new Crosstrek getting delivered this week.
Thank you.

FedEx delivered my X-act Contour Floor Mats, front and rear, today. Good fit.
Husky has updated their website. Doing a search for the 2022 Crosstrek it shows the X-act but there is a statement on the web page:
SORRY! THIS PRODUCT MAY NOT FIT YOUR RIDE.
Mine seem to fit ok.

I’ve used both the Husky and WeatherTech models and prefer WeatherTech. Be sure to order the WeatherTech Floor LINERS and not the Floor Mats as the Liners have high sides and will contain any water, slush, mud or snow. I live in the mountains where it snows a lot and these are a must have in the winter.

I had the opposite experience with Weathertech liners. it was on a 2007 Forester. The driver side did not fit that well and over time the wall on the left curved inward and warped so dirt and water got around the liner. The Huskys fit much better. Husky has a stiffer model that are supposed to be like the Weathertechs, but the Contours are softer and seem molded better to the floor. I have no experience with the stiffer Huskys.
