How do you adjust the LED headlights?

This time I realized what the 1.2% marking on the headlight means and adjusted them to 1.2% down which was about 6 turns up.
Cherrytrek, where did you see the 1.2%?

I found several (non brand specific) charts showing 2” down at 25’ which is 0.6666%.

The manual for my 2024 (LEDs) shows how the screws work, but no angle/height/distance info.

I‘ve found Subaru info saying to be 30 feet back, but again, no other info.

I even found this detailed service manual. It has lots of nice numbers, except for “D” - the height of the beam at 10 feet out. Or are they telling me it should be the same as the headlight center…

The blue square is for horizontal (azimuth) adjustment. It's very fine - you need a massive amount of complete rotations so as to notice the pattern moving. It's purpose is to direct the V-like notch in the beam pattern at the right angle towards incoming traffic, so that it intersects with the same V-shape of the other headlight on the ground (preventing to illuminate incoming traffic).

The horizontal adjustment screw one is the identical white thingie to the LEFT of the blue square (arrow). Notice how there is a (diagonally to the right) groove in the plastic assembly, allowing the insertion of a screwdriver.

So there is only one U-D screw on each side? (The yellow arrow).
And we ignore the Red square adjuster?

(there are two U-D, U-D marks on each housing - and a sticker says to “adjust both at the same time”).

Thanks for the picture. I stared at the two adjusters for a while last night and deduced incorrectly which was which.
