I just purchased a 2021 crosstrek and I’ve noticed that on acceleration there seems to be a hesitation when I press the pedal. Has anybody else experienced this issue and if so was there a fix for it. Thanks

Are you finished with the engine break in? I’ve got a 16, with the 2.0, and I’ve never experienced anything like that. I can’t see how it could be carbon buildup, the need for using premium, or a need to change plugs. I’ve always added some Lucas upper cylinder lubricant to my gas tank every couple of tanks. Just a few ounces, and you can get a 100 ounce bottle for around $10 at Walmart. I don’t use dealer oil, and have used RP since new. I also have used Zmax in my oil since the first oil change. I’ve got 58k, and my throttle response is very good. Sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems. It doesn’t sound like you should be expected to come up with the solution for a new vehicle.

I’m keeping my car, indefinitely. Sorry to hear about this situation. Sometimes so-called advancements aren’t as advertised.
