So a little over a week ago I was driving to work, went to shift gears when…my clutch pedal sank to the floor. Thankfully I was near an intersection where I could coast around the corner into an alley.
Long story short, I had it towed to the dealership I bought it from and awaited the potentially bad news. The mechanic told me it was the CMC, I thought “ no big deal, I’ve replaced these in another car “. I’d rather replace it myself than pay the almost $700 they quoted me.
I noticed a) the reservoir is on top of the brake MC/Servo. b) there is a bleeder valve on the front of the CMC. Do I bleed it straight from there or the slave??
Any help on taking it off/bleeding the lines would be super helpful.
thanks 🙏
