Figured I would post this here, I am considering purchasing a new bicycle and was looking into racks. I park in a garage with *very* low clearances, so roof rack is out (at least for in town, long distance would consider this, possibly.)

I also don't have a hitch, and not sure I want to dive into that expense just yet.

Most of the hatch mounted racks cannot be used with a spoiler, and I have seen mostly good things about the Hollywood Racks "F2 Over-the-Top Trunk Bike Rack" which seems designed for this exact purpose. So to the XV masses:
1. Have any of you used this on your vehicle? What did you think?
2. Any other recommendations of over the spoiler bike racks?

Thanks!

I did this for my "19 https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hitch/Subaru/Crosstrek/2019/C13382.html?vehicleid=201963913
now this rack: https://www.google.com/search?q=allen+sport+bike+rack+522rr&spf=1&cad=h
my total cost was roughly $210 plus $75 for one installation fee, or you could install yourself.. camhttps://www.google.com/search?q=allen+sport+bike+rack+522rr&spf=1&cad=her to your Hollywood rack for :https://www.google.com/search?ei=K6T7XOC_O4SyggeUpZPgAg&q=hollywood+racks+"f2+over-the-top+trunk&oq=&gs_l=psy-ab.1.0.35i39l6.74915.76180..77764...1.0..4.110.1973.23j2......0....1..gws-wiz.....6..0i71j0i22i30.P6eCFxcaAFs
now I can open my hatch with my bike on my rack because it fold down.to remove my rack the hitch is remove 1anti-rattle bolt. that Hollywood rack don't look to easy mount and remove it when not in use.
this my suggestion, something to think on.
