Just Picked up my Crosstrek, had it for about 5 weeks and everyday I drive I like it a little bit more.
Parts are slowly trickling in. So far just wheels tires and rack have shown up.
I felt the same way about mine. Discovered new abilities and quirks for a long while. It is a fun learning experience. Nice to learn you made an even better choice than you first thought. Coming on on five years now with my 2017 and I hope it lasts forever, or at least as long as I do.
First Subaru here too. Have been in a Toyota in some form or another for most of this century. I like it so far, but it has had some hiccups. Probably operator error. We'll see. I hope it shakes out and holds to it's reputation.
Thanks! Looking good! Could you take a picture to see how the wheels stick out ? Curious to see how a +40 offset look like. Maybe I found my new wheels…
I like those 17" boxer B's. I opted for the 15's myself. Gave thought to getting some Method 502's or 701's 's in 17" for my snow tires, but opted for a simpler and cheaper setup. I did get 225/65R17's and I have a 1.5" lift. Any plans on a lift? I know one user has 235/60R17's on their setup. Said they did rub slightly. 235/65R17 would look great but would definitely require trimming and maybe even too aggressive outside the fenders. Anyways, keep us updated. Start a Journal here:
