Hi all,
I purchased my 2022 Crosstrek and it came with some soft rubber (not harder plastic) what I'll call splash guards in front of the rear wheel. I noticed it wasn't mounted like the one on the other side but it wasn't a problem so I didn't do anything with it. The other morning, in heavy rain, I hit a small pot hole that I usually avoid and all of the sudden it heard a pulsing rubber on rubber squeak the frequency of which matched the speed of the vehicle. Long story short that rubber splash guard had relocated so that it was rubbing on the front of the tire.

I tucked it back up in, into it's normal position but there is a place where a fastener goes just to hold it in place that I have no idea what it is or where I could get another.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about or what the fastener is and or a part number.

Thanks

It doesn’t sound like it was a factory part. Go to the auto parts store. They should have a variety of fasteners called, trim clips, push clips, panel fasteners, etc. Find one that has the diameter and depth you need.
