Eyesight off and check engine light

My eyesight is off as well as the check engine light. Has anyone had this issue? Do they usually occur together? View attachment 319179
You may have two separate problems; Eyesight and emissions related error code(s) associated with the check engine indicator. In general, Eyesight has nothing to do with engine emissions errors, the majority of check engine indicators with error codes related to engine emissions. Eyesight is not engine related at all. If you have Starlink, check your MySubaru app for diagnostic error codes. No Starlink, try Autozone or other auto store providing free reading of error codes.

My new C-Sport does trigger Eyesight errors (no cel) and so far I've found it related to interior fogging of the camera lenses. Turning on heater or ac on defrost mode with medium blower speed defogs and restores Eyesight. Earlier Eyesight issues seem to be about camera alignment.

No one wants second guessing of the check engine light. Visit Autozone or other big box auto parts store providing free readings.

Eyesight dropping out may be just a dirty windshield where the two or three cameras need clear views of the road. Eyesight will reset on its own if it's a temporary issue.

New, within weeks, eyesight dropped out and no check engine light. Based on members feedback, I surmised hot summer humidity. A few blocks down the road, ac on or just defogger/blower on, Eyesight reset on its own. It did this a few more times, once on the highway in winter whiteout conditions. We assume if humans can't see thru whiteout, then Eyesight can't. As soon as whiteout conditions dissipated, Eyesight returned. [technically human eyesight and the cells between our ears has thousands of times higher resolution and computational abilities than electronics. However, military aircraft with over the horizon radar and other electronics are way better than the multimillion dollar trained pilot that can't see the enemy 25 miles out.]
