I'm assuming (yeah, I know) that the 2022 Forester has an electrical emergency-brake system.I find that hard to believe being possible. How could pressing the gas release the lever from the notches?
Possibly but this is a Crosstrek forum? What's the relevance here?I'm assuming (yeah, I know) that the 2022 Forester has an electrical emergency-brake system.
Yes.. As described in the owners manual... Prerequisites are that you are wearing your seat belt, shift the car into drive or reverse, let go of the service brake, and then when you press down on the accelerater it will release the electric parking brake.I found that just lightly touching the accelerator releases the E-Brake. Forgive me if anyone except me realized that.
Disclaimer-it does that on my '22 Forester.
