Just wanted to centralize the discussion of drinking vessels which do fit the center cup holders. It has been kind of a never ending quest for me to find one.

TLDR: Any vessel with a base diameter of 3” (plus a couple of millimeters) and no tapering should fit snug. A smaller diameter base diameter will work if there is tapering. I suggest just adding a silicone boot to the vessel to have it fit snugly in the cup holder.

Below are my findings for my 2021.

YETI RAMBLER 30 OZ TUMBLER WITH MAGSLIDER LID

Almost a perfect fit. Adding a silicone boot sleeve makes it a perfect, snug fit.

Almost a perfect fit. Adding a silicone boot sleeve makes it a perfect, snug fit.

Vessels which do not fit in the cup holder, either too large to insert or too small to sit stable
  • Nalgene 32oz narrow mouth plastic bottles (example)—Diameter too large
  • Nalgene 32oz wide mouth plastic bottles (example)—Diameter too large

I have an older 16 oz. Thermos coffee cup which fits just fine in the front holder. I also re-use a 1-liter seltzer bottle for water in the 2nd holder which also fits just fine.

So a non-issue for me.
