Opps, sorry
don't be sorry- your list spells out bulb types in common types- not the strange numbers subaru uses. Also, I think the brake light bulbs are a 7443 but I read on here that they are a "CK" style so common 7443 bulbs or LEDs will short out if they are not CK style as well. Thanks for the effort! Good post!

What is the difference between the DE3022 in the cargo area and the DE3175 that is used for the dome and reading lights? Will a 31mm festoon still fit? The only thing that I see different from the Sylvania DE3022 and DE3175 is that the DE3022 is about half the wattage. I'm going to try a drop in LED replacement first, but I think someday I'll need to get one of these for that rear cargo area:
FlexLight Trunk LED Strip - Trunk LED Kit - LED Strips - Lighting

It'll be tricky to wire it to come on with the rest of the interior lights though, not to mention installing it in a way that doesn't look ridiculous.

Lumen + test to replace

Hi Excellent work.
Is there now any where I can figure out what Lumen I shall choose? There seems to be more than one to choose from at superbrightleds.com?
As an example. Im a newbie at this with replacing standard bulbs with LED. I want to start to test replacing the brake light.
The CK seems to be important.
So is https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/tail-brake-turn/7443-ck-led-bulb--dual-intensity-18-smd-led-tower/1298/ the correct choice?

A few things we discovered in testing,

The 2015 XV Crosstrek does indeed have CK-configured sockets for the rear turn signals. The fronts are not CK, so any standard replacement 7440 bulb will operate correctly

The flasher module is a CF18, just like 99% of all Subaru vehicles

Evening Forum,

I was searching LED Bulbs for my 2015 XV, Came across a Bulb # that is not in the sticky of the "Comprehensive Bulb" list.

The Bulb # I came across was 194.

Was wondering if it was a typo OR does 194 get used in an XV?

Thanks

194 bulbs (also commonly referred to as T10, 168, etc..) are found on almost every vehicle

They fit the sidemarkers, license plate, and "C-Lights" on the XV

In regards to LEDs, they are interchangeable. They have the same T10 base. If you are sticking with standard filament bulbs, stay with what it is spec'd for, as there is a difference. 168's are brighter, and therefore run hotter than the 194's.

It's just the rear turn signal that is CK, the rear brake light is standard?
