Did the spark plugs change for wife's 17 Trek over the weekend. I can not separate the coil boot from the wiring that is attached by a spring loaded connector. I tried push the spring down and pull but the connector is not showing sign of moving. Rather than damaging it I ended up not take the boot and wire apart and just roll it out of way. What's the correct way to disconnect the coil harness? Appreciate some insight.
