I installed the BILLETWORKZ short shifter kit over the weekend. While in there I also changed to the GroupN trans mount, Whiteline crossmember bushings, and a Perrin pitch stop mount. All I can say is wow, what a difference. Everything feels so much tighter and more connected. As for NVH, I don't really notice any difference. From what I can tell there is a little more sound but nothing that's annoying. The shifter itself is way more direct and I want to say stiffer. It does take a little getting used to after driving the stock shifter for a few weeks. I'm coming from daily driving my 2006 Pontiac GTO that is way more visceral in every since of the word. Below are some of the picture I took of the process. I really just followed BILLETWORKZ instructions and everything went great. I don't have any pictures of the crossmember bushing or pitch mount, just forgetting to take pictures.
While I had the center console apart I also took the time to route/mount a ScanGauge II. I don't like not having some, what I consider, basic gauges. Of course after a day of having the ScanGauge installed I am receiving a Starlink email telling me it's not working properly. That's not a huge deal to me, just annoying.
